However, fMRI-guided TMS offers an effective, non-invasive alternative way to treat complex psychiatric and neurological conditions without any side effects associated with ECT.

fMRI-guided TMS delivers magnetic pulses only on specific malfunctioning regions of the brain identified by our brain mapping technology, while ECT influences the whole brain, harmfully affecting the healthy regions of the brain. We also use fMRI-guided TMS to identify patients who might experience permanent memory loss from ECT.
