Our proprietary technology using functional MRI (fMRI) allows early detection of brain disorders prior to behavioral or structural manifestations (i.e., imaging-based biomarkers) for prevention and early intervention in neurological and psychiatric conditions. It also allows intervention in the later stages of a disease/condition when cortical atrophy and volume loss are present by: (1) recruiting healthy brain regions in affected pathways to compensate for function loss and; (2) stimulating atrophic areas to delay further deterioration and progression of the disease.
